Ready to be taken out to the ball game—played by the world champs? Last year for the first time in franchise history, the Texas Rangers won the World Series and the accompanying Commissioner’s Trophy. And fans went crazy for our local Major League Baseball team, with thousands calling in sick to work or skipping school to witness the 2023 World Series Victory Parade in person.

It’s only been a few days since the Texas Rangers season opener against the Chicago Cubs on March 28, so it’s impossible to predict whether the team will make it two in a row, but hopes remain high. With several of last year’s star players returning, including Nathan Eovaldi, Adolis Garcia, Corey Seager, and Marcus Semien, they’ve got a great shot at another triumph.

Win or lose, a visit to Globe Life Field in Arlington always makes for a homerun date night or memorable outing with friends and family. Whether you’re going for the can’t-miss stadium food, must-have Rangers merch, behind-the-scenes experiences, Insta-worthy photo ops, or you’re a purist and all you really care about is watching the game, we’re here to guide you in the right direction.

How do you get tickets? How do you get to Globe Life Field? What’s parking like once you get there? Can you tailgate at Globe Life Field? All these questions and more will be answered so you can get the most every time you go to root, root, root for the home team Texas Rangers.

Go directly to the source for your Texas Rangers home game ticket needs. Purchase single-game tickets or a season pass (full or half-season), build your own 20-game plan, secure a luxury suite, or gather a group of 15 or more for tickets starting at only $10.

How to Get to Globe Life Field

If you’re taking a rideshares service to Globe Life Field, such as a taxi, Uber, Lyft, or Alto, you can be dropped off anywhere, but pickup will be at Chapmans Cutoff, south of Randol Mill Road and Stadium Drive (between C Lot and W Lot), as well as on the east side of the stadium.

If you’re making a staycation of it and spending the night at a hotel within the Arlington Entertainment District, you may be able to get picked up and dropped off via the Arlington Trolley for free. Check before booking a room to see if this service is available.

For those driving into Arlington, numerous parking options exist. Check out the parking map before your visit to make sure you choose the correct one for your ticket type. Season pass holders have designated parking, some lots are general access, while others are reserved and will be designated on your ticket type. If you drive a Lexus, get a special window decal and park for free in designated lots, space permitting, to any home game. Note: All parking operations are cashless. Note: There is no valet parking available at Globe Life Field.

Can you tailgate at Globe Life Field?

Get the party started early with a tailgate party in any official Texas Rangers parking lot, except for lots A, B, and T. A full list of tailgating rules can be found on the Globe Life Field website. You are permitted to bring your own food, beverages, tents, charcoal and gas grills, tables, and chairs (only in the grassy areas, not parking spaces); you may party from the time the lot opens through the end of the 2nd inning and up to an hour after the final out of the game; and tickets to the game aren’t required for tailgating, except on Opening Day and during postseason games.
